Professional Biography

My current research area has been the T-DNA integration and genomic DNA repair. Our work about heterogeneous T-DNA integration inspired us to study how DNA double-strand breaks are repaired correctly or hijacked by Agrobacterium.

I also have a research interest in reproductive biology of flowering plants, especially the specialization of sperm cells and the process of double fertilization. We try to develop new methods to figure out new genetic factors involved in these events.

Area of Expertise

T-DNA integration; double fertilization; plant cell structure
